I lace my basslines. nice and tight. 40-120hz.

Great way of bashing people who actually helped someone. Why don't you just STFU. If you read threw the thread the TS actually thanked for help. And using the search function is actually something people miss. If you perhaps use it you'll see theres a ton of threads that all discuss the same things. Why not look at these?

Ok well. I found another way to do it: split the bass in 3 frequency bands. Lows, < 120 hz, Mids, 120 <> 1,5 khz and Highs 1,5 khz >.
Sidechain the lower frequency band on the kick. And separate processing inserts for mids and highs.
