Hi guys!
Have you ever asked a title of one record that a deejay was playing?
What was the reaction?

Re: Ask for a "track id" to a deejay
I think if you ask a personal friend vs. a stranger : naturally there could be different results. I've asked, both close friends, both played vinyl, both shared - artist/title/label id. even a stranger I'm sure at some point in time. same result. perhaps it's on how you ask? also only asking perhaps one id a set helps vs. every other record. love should be shared. personally, I've handed the record to people I knew after I was done playing it. saves time I suppose...

Yes sure, I was very curious because last Sunday I saw @ Dude Club in Milan a guy that gave her phone in the hands of Zip while he was playing and Zip happily wrote something with that phone and then retourned it to the guy: honestly I would never have expected! ahah

Zip is actually known to be relaxed about giving out track ID's. Don't know how it transpired but giving you phone and asking a dj to write it down mid-set?RGRPGN wrote:Yes sure, I was very curious because last Sunday I saw @ Dude Club in Milan a guy that gave her phone in the hands of Zip while he was playing and Zip happily wrote something with that phone and then retourned it to the guy: honestly I would never have expected! ahah
Here an example of zip not making a fuss about it:
