Frequency Analysis for Reason 5

Guys, I'm a Reason 5 user. And I'm still learning about producing music. One of those aspects is of course EQing and mixing. For analysis of my elements in the frequency spectrum is need an analyser. I've been reading about the Vocoder use but some say that it's not sufficient. I've not rewired anyt...

Well, I've bought myself a couple of mk2s. It's a very special day for me :)

In the future I will buy myself a CDJ so I won't be surprised at venues without TTs.

Thanks for the replies. There are these blogs popping everywhere about the future of digital djing and about the demise of the vinyl dj etc etc and clubs dropping the turntables. So I better buy an extra cdj 1000 in the future to be able to control these when spinning at clubs where they haven't got...

Should I buy the analog turntable Technics SL 1200/1210?

I'm a vinyl dj since 2003. I've been spinning on these Synq XTRM-1 turntables which are fine, but they are NOT the SL 1200s. Since 2007 I use Traktor Scratch with vinyl. Lately there are these rumours again about they're finished @ Panasonic. And a lot of webshops are running out of stock with the p...

Reason 5 user here. Climbing on that mountain, falling down and then go up again. Never thought production would be so rewarding and a bitch at the same time. But still, it's more addictive than nicotine.

I think it's a matter of having a good conversation. As a couple you need to know the expectations of each other.

My girl supports me because it's my dream. She cannot fulfill her dream anymore because of a chronic injury during a training so therefore she supports me. She's one of a kind.

Separate set of monitors for both producing/djing?

He guys, I'm not asking which brand bla bla. I'm just curious if you guys use separate monitor sets for producing and djing? I mean, I'm gonna buy an entry-level set like Yamaha HS-80. Which has a "flat" sound. Is this set still worth it for djing? Or should I get an extra pair of Behringe...
