you can do that by using aux knobs not a problem with a&h just another way of doing that :) OK, but it's a pain in the arse. You wouldn't say to a scratch DJ about a mixer with no crossfader, "you can do the same thing by using the up faders, it's just another way of doing the same thing&q...

In terms of treading the line between usability and features I think my favourite would be the DJM600 (it's certainly the mixer I'm most comfortable using - and I don't even own one), but I do notice that the sound comes out a bit smeared. A&Hs are ok, but I'm not a huge fan to be honest - due l...

Totally don't get what he wrote about deadmau5. I can't say I'm into his music, but thought he had some reasonably intelligent stuff to say. I'm not even sure there is ...

For me one shots are justified. Full loops i won't touch no matter how good they are. If I was forced to use pre made loops to make music, i'd quit all together!! There's just no satisfaction in using other peoples creations. I generally just hold onto the one shots and scrap the loops. If the loop...

A77s and B77s tend to be durable; I haven't had any problems at all with my B77. I use it for tape delay (did a post on this a while back for how to rig up a tape echo with a B77 and ableton) and general warming duties, bouncing drums, sampling tape noise etc. I don't often use it for bouncing entir...
