Hardcore compression to me is using it as an effect pretty much. Over compression really. Using it to get that pumping breathing sound, ya know?

It sounds like you don't really want it around. If you can't be bothered to want to sample with a sampler, sell it. It's a sampler, that's all it is. If you're not gonna use it, ditch it.
