I've been using DrumSpillage since it launched a few days ago. It's currently Mac/AU only. 16 pads with tons of modulation and parameters, and each pad can use one of 11 modules to start crafting a sound. The dev is working on an FM module to add in an update. It'll even do whooshes, bleeps, blips, ...

8.1.1 is working nearly perfectly on the machine in my sig. I've only had it crash once, maybe twice, for reasons I can't fathom. Any other time it's been when closing it too soon after it was ReWire Master to another app that I just closed. I don't use external devices, but have many plugins I use ...

I'd say fifteen is about average for me, plus several return tracks, though sometimes I've gone as low as three to four on a very light ambient track. I recently made a thunderstorm for my girlfriend to sleep to that was merely two: Rain (a park fountain I ran through Live's Grain Delay and Reverb; ...

Lately it's been sampling and seeing what sounds I can actually get out of a given sample. I'm pretty good at programming synths, but using a sampler for sound design was a weak area for me.

I'm also really into experimenting with Numerology and anything else non-standard I can get my hands on.

You know, I had a project in Live that when I duplicated clips, any changes I made to one would be made to all. This was back on 8.0.4 or .5 iirc. It doesn't do it anymore, though. but it DID do this, and it irritated the hell out of me until I was able to figure out why

I used a couple DVDs from magazines for awhile, now I've recently cut the samples I use down to mostly just Wave Alchemy's Drum Tools 01 and Konkrete 1/2 for drums, plus some weird free stuff from gnomehammer and a few other sources. And a handful of soft synths
