for me floor-functionality and good music are two completely different things. this track is a little bit more than okay-"functional" but thats all it got. its a pure leg-shaker tool and helps itself out with pure on/off-arrangement. its nothing special. its just a dj trying to write good ...

some practices which possible inspire you: - could be that you know this one, but just to be beware of: the basic "shuffle" (dont know the exact musictheory-term) is just to delay every second 1/16 note a little bit. it works on almost every percussion. i personally prefer delay-values bet...

When the project just wont finish

Hi, how do you deal with projects which have some great elements involved but you are sticking somewhere and it seems hard to finish it? I am sure you all know them. Sometimes you finish a track in 2 sessions, thats great. But some will never end. And thats a pitty. What are the reasons? How do you ...

@kdgh i realy enjoyed the soundcloud links you have posted is this sound created with different compression on low-, mid-, high-busses? @steevio as a simple example i cross frequency modulate the fundamantal waves of my percussion sounds, it ties them together in ways which are impossible by any oth...
