I'm not sure what is happening here. Make sure that the track in question is NOT record enabled. Hit record in the transport bar and then play. Record the automation.

Is that working?

8.1.3 seems to be working well. I'm dreading pushing it to hard though in case I lose the will to live........

Are you able to change parameters with the midi controller still but its just record that isn't working?

Some kind soul pointed out that the basic drum loop video was actually showing a reverb tutoral. This is now fixed so they should all be available again.
