I suppose its because most audiences like 4\4. Remember most people that go to events are after the opposite sex and beer and whatever. Music is a low 4th :) I know what you mean though. sorry but sounds good to who? the people who only know the typical beatport chart crap with the standard cliche sample cd sounds? with all those producers who want to be in those charts and copy and paste the same sh!t cause if they are in these charts they get gigs and sh!t? just had a quick liste...

barfunkel, there is lots of good stuff getting produced. techno is gaining momentum and more people are noticing that it works well in a club setting to use stripped down and open tracks music's nature is basically repetitive, we shouldn't be afraid of that I don't think it's necessary to always try...

Is there anyone here that makes music completely straight? I honestly don't know a single producer that doesn't seem to have some sort of a drug or drink problem. I actually prefer to be really high (couch lock is good for me) when making music. I can then totally zone out and get into what I am do...
