Seems a bit stupid to post it on a forum as a first port of call.

The likely situation - it was listened to by numerous people in the record shop and therefore got dirty.

Is the album any good, btw?

I think you're being awkward for the sake of it. Clearly, Instrusion, Rhythm & Sound etc. is more ambient and atmospheric than say, something by Brendon Moeller which is aimed more at the dance floor. Some producers that I think make more upbeat/club-friendly dub techno:- Luke Hess; Brendon Moel...
