606 FTW.

The dr202 is not analog at all, and honestly and I can't say why the 606 just has so much damn personality.

Even the little kick it has has so much beef to it, I dunno how it comes thru as strong as it does, but it does!

I love my tr606, use it all the time.

Yeah I think they look cool, but it seems like a lot of money and also based on an older idea about modular than the current thinking. I like a lot of the nu skool ideas floating around, and the buchla/wiard inspired mutant stuff, and the digital modules... amazing usefulness in small spaces. For ut...

Kinda OT perhaps, and not the direction I am going in at the moment but: For the sake of discussion, any of you ever look into the Analogue Solutions semi-modular stuff like the Vostok or the Tereshkova? The new Station X or Y? The red square looks boring to me, but the above mentioned ones look pre...

Yeah, the AFG does look like a beast. That Macbeth single oscillator is sure to be raw. Based on my experience, Steevio's opinion (along with many others), the Tip Top Z3000 might well be the best bang for the buck and hp oscillator. yes its a nice VCO, i'm going to buy a Z3000 mk11 to go with my Z...

No joke. The Livewire and Macbeth stuff has that retro-alien-technology look that would give even a Martian a raging hard on.

Hey Steevio, mind telling me more about that Livewire AFG?

I have this morbid fascination with the thing, but thats hella hp eaten up with that thing's size so I need more info before I try and grab one.

wow you guys are super brave, I am very sparing when going that low and will usually concentrate energy around 40-60 hz.

I just let the suggestion of bass happen below 40 with what energy is present in my low bass. I find it usually has plenty of wobble just leaving the remainder in.
