I agree w/ Alphajuno (although the lazy comment was a bit harsh- ha). Anyway, this has worked great for me too. Also, you may want to go into a loop and change the attack on single/random hits (with the volume). Try moving several of the hits so they are off just a little. This will give an otherwise "perfect" computer generated drum loop a very live feel. Hope this helps.

With the "global groove amount", which is the box with a zero next to 4/4.
In the clip you can select how the global groove amount affects the rythm (straight or swing 8-16-32).

why would you want to press a button for "the funk"?


i could see its advantages, but when your done, id suspect its not nearly as gratifying, and in reality....some nerdy engineer who designed the box or software...hes the one who really made that sh!t

But step-sequencers are so nice, and with them you can do things that you won't do when playing by hand :wink:
