Definition of Minimal Music?

by defining it aren't we creating limits?

i think that a lot of why people seem to be
bored with current techno coming out is that
a lot of producers are continually thinking that
they must do certain things in order to create
"minimal".

i think a lot of the stigmata records by liebing are
fairly minimal. but this doesn't seem like it would
fit in with the current accepted view of "minimal".

exactly, half of the minimal stuff sounds progressive to me anyways.
