IF THE TRACK IS "BROKEN" IF THE PITCH\BPM CHANGES (WE ARE TALKING ABOUT DIGITAL MP3 TRACKS) YOUR BEATMATCHING SKILLS WON'T HELP!
Sorry for the caps but just wanted to make that clear, you can beatmatch the track into another at 128bpms, but if the track changes you can't do anything!
Thats why i'm trying to find out wich of my files are broken
Is there a Software to detect pitch \ bpm CHANGES in mp3's??

I just made a example:
This track is playing in both decks at the same pitch 0% I play the first minute with beats, and the minute before the end, as you can see! I let it play for some time, and you can see that the track got off-beat!
This means that the pitch\bpm\whatever changed!!! I CAN'T DJ WITH THIS TRACK! Beatmatching would be impossible because the beats from this track would get off-beat
I believe this mp3 is corrupted and i need to find a good one with no bpm\pitch change

Yep I betmap in ableton if something weird is going on. Saves the stress.hydrogen wrote:this will happen with any types of music...
1. you've got record warping. your serato records arn't as solid as you thought.
2. the sequencer computer timing might be a little off.
3. during the mastering process they may have brought it on tape.
your solution is either to beat map these things in tracktor or ableton or just get used to it like everybody else.
