I wish I could "get" this release. I just can't. It sounds sort of cheesy and slapped together to me.

I guess I'm too rooted in the old D&B days when the stuff had more beat/bass and less ambient noise.

well for starters its not d&b and how on earth is this cheesy? the whole slapped together thing is part of the essence of his sound as its underproduced and has an edgy feeling to it

Huge, just huge. Never gave a sh*t bout r&b vocals, drum and bass and so on but this got me seriously hooked!

it's not only cheesy, it's pure kitsch. moodwise it doesn't sound any different than old enigma releases. at least to me.

imho it's one of the biggest wastes of petrochemical resources.
