Are you kidding? Electronic instruments turned music on its head and hte music world was caught quite off-guard. It doesnt matter if any of the tools used had been already available for a few years, these tools remained ahead of their time after their production had ceased. Techno certainly did not come about from production and recording techniques of less technological nature. They were essentially fucking around with computers.minimal house wrote:If you think techno music came about using equipment that was technologically advanced for its time, then you'd better do some research son!jpls wrote:yes...not embracing technology when playing 'techno' is somethingKilevox wrote: Everytime when I see him mixing, I think

answer was that Jeff's alias in the 80s was "The Wizard"... me and my gf got to
see Jeff performing for the John Peel sessions at Maida Vale in London, when
John was still alive. About 20 ppl in the studio, John was bringing the beers
and total craziness was floating all over... James Ruskin was also there as
another fan of Jeff... the show was aired live, and we got to see an extra 15 mins
exclusive madness while he dropped some early UR vinyls. i have to say that Jeff
is one of the most modest, shy & friendly persons around.
it's still and will remain an unforgettable experience for me
