A couple of the DETUND guys use trackers. I've watched them explain a few things about them and have seen some of their processes. Some of the sequential edits they achieve are just phenomenal and work really well in a drum n bass idm context. I'd still like to learn more about them.

Again, a 4 tracker is just a record with 4 tracks on it.
