It's described in the Users Manual on page 54. It lets you change the patterns length and define from which step the patterns is starting. This weekend I was really trying the sequencer of the MD and I think I get an idea of how to make more variations, specially using the song mode.
So I think I am going to really use it much more now. I tried also to use it to sequence some VST´s and it really worked well.
Now my question is, how do you sync it with ableton? do you use the MD´s clock or Ableton´s one? and how do you deal with the latency when you want record the MD?
