Already a favourite with the Berghain crew (Ben Klock, Len Faki), this first release from this new Italian label claims to bring techno back to its top level.
We're inclined to agree with those sentiments. The A side consists of two deep and dark techno tracks, that should also find favour with more minimal dj's. They are apparently by a popular 'Northern' European artist, going under the guise of ????. The label has kept such a secret that we don't even know who it is. On the B side, we have a Soz Adams (Esperanza, Archipel, Gumption) remix of label head 'Obtane' and Fris, which is a retro Chicago style excursion, and German duo Sebastian Herre and Obscure close the EP with a more Detroit Techno inspired track.
