Keith Kemp[FerrisPark, Beretta Music, Out of the Box]
Keith Kemp has been a DJ in and around the Detroit area for the last 10 years, primarily focused on fusing fragmented bits of the Detroit techno blueprint all over the dance floor.
Through various residencies, DJ sets, and live performances, he has been on a constant personal journey within electronic music ranging from performing at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival to movie scores and sound design.
Since 2001, Keith has found himself involved with the operations of the Ferrispark record label as well as several releases on various Detroit labels reaching all corners of the world. As a life-long connoisseur of music, his DJ sets can range from glitch funk, industrial, hip-hop and jungle.
When not spinning, Keith can be found working on new musical ideas and innovative approaches to performing live, creating his part in the future sound of Detroit. His goal is to bring minimal, raw, and unique music working to subvert the system and challenge what's happening now with electronic sound generation,experimental composition, and live performance.
