Half Moon Dragster has released on Montreal's experimental Alien8 label and now brings Archipel its eleventh release "INRI" and this one is a trip.
Beginning with "Terra," the journey is only just beginning. Phasing IDM textures, slippery hats and extremely deep kicks form aural hallucinations of rubbery landscapes. "Ignis" is a watery swim through an infinitely distinct, organic haze of digital boiling and electric hissing.
"Aqua" literally continues this watery escapade full of reverberating drips and warps in a very cave like and perfected mass of texture. Next is "Mens" which brings the listener into a strange and crystaline jungle of far out textures and not one iota less deeper than you can imagine.
"Epilogue OOINRI" isn't the end, but just a continuation of perpetual depth and expansive, mental texture fields to trip out with. Enter Half Moon Dragsters very own remix of Terra which is a more edgy and schizophrenic take on the original.
The EP now ends with David Kritian's remix of Terra which brings its guns slung low with subtle hisses and shattered noises soaking wet with chilly, ethereal pads which take the listener off into the night.
