Track 2: not sure about this one, it's probably closer to electrohouse than techno, maybe it is a bit too 'happy'? The high lead could be crazier too I think...
i like the synths, then i like the bass you've used. there are some drum samples that come in a bout half way through, not sure what they are called but they are bit loud in the mix? could be eased in to the mix somehow?
then definately flesh it out into a track, add some random effects every 8/16 would sound good mate!

these basic elements are cool, could easily make this into a full length track. as yah said if you make it full length may make a second half where yah tweak the knobs a bit. record yourself messing around with the lfo / filter settings for 20 mins, cut out the best bits then place them as the lead in your second half. it is fairly happy as you say, but all songs can't be dull and depressing?
