EDIT: that recommended D16 looks intersting too! haven't seen it before...gotta try 8)
very good to my ears actually not too cpu hungry too and highly tweak-able. Trying it is buying it imo. Also loving the Decimort for some false 16bit downsampling. Adds just that tiny wee bit of noise one might want.

Can't wait for their shioitor synth i must say. I just hope it won't be too cpu heavy... :)

sorry, did you say NOT CPU hungry!??? are you kidding!?

loading it made 10% already (on lowest quality)
setting it to highest quality it matches the CPU of the wave arts tube...around 25-30% CPU!

seems that "good" saturation emulation are CPU hungry.

surely nothing you can use across your channels...(pre)render/freeze..only option.

You get what you pay for (in terms of CPU) imo...

The wave arts one looks like the first remotely faithful emulation of analogue-style, non linear harmonic distortion.

Most "saturation" plugs are actually "bog standard digital distortion" plugs, it seems.

Im looking for plugins (for Mac plz) to add some tube saturation (harmonics) to my sounds. Especially over my Vermona DRM1.

I did say not too cpu hungry :) Been using it on a macbook dualcore 2.4Ghz without really much of an issue.
but then, i haven't really tried out other saturations plugins. As i'm more trying to focus on a few tools and learn them inside out rather than have 20 saturation plugs. Plus why would you put it across each and every channel?
How's the nebula one? I've been trying to grab the osx beta to no avail. Would you care sharing the link to it please?
