I've watched many of the Red Bull Music Academy videos and found them interesting from a fan's perspective, but does anyone know someone that's actually attended the academy or knows what happens in the workshops?

I've always thought it would be cool to be able to attend, but never really understood what kinds of opportunities they provide, other than hobnobbing with the guests... I think part of it includes being able to play out/DJ at venues in the host city.

thats the only one aim of my post, sure you cant learn anything from this video, its just for the fans, and all the other videos too, just find some big names talking about their music, interesting..
