i don't see why it would be a problem unless your recording something and using a lot of liquid mix plugins at the same time.

"a lot" is relative tho. I had to buy a separate PCI firewire card for my tower to handle the LM and my soundcard at the same time.

I run sessions at 24/44 and would use just a few instances on the LM and it would freeze up. no matter what settings I changed vis a vis buffer size, latency, etc it would get stuck eventually. problem with the LM is that I had to completely reboot my computer to unfreeze. not just restart, but shut down and reboot.
