Its no soundforge... but very powerful features for non destructive edits and a cool layering system for vst/au effects.

I'm using Wave Editor by Audiofile Engineering. Simple layout, easy to use and does exactly what I want. The only thing it's missing is a pitch envelope (although the developer told me it's on the next release). It's cheap too.

Wave Editor looks really nice, but think I'm gonna stay with Amadeus Pro so far..

wtf is up with that video? whoever was in charge of that shoot should be fired. i just use a combo of reaper/wavosaur/audacity for editing but i've been looking at acon acoustica. but tbh i don't think i need anything atm that my current setup can't handle.
