what microphone did you use for the test?
Audiotechnica pro 24

i know, it's not the best but sufficient to ear (and see) that my room is a mess.

Test mics (totally flat response) are available all over the place, that behringer one is quite rated and cheap (50 euro)

the behringer mic is supposed to be ok from what I have read.

Rather than spending out on GIK stuff you could make your own? Its not actually that hard, and much cheaper.

Just don't bother with auralex foam. Its rubbish for broadband absorbtion.
