STAR TRACKS – The Future Begins
Space is the place, so it's a natural choice to celebrate outdoors. Hardly an event's given proof of that as often as the the annual summer highlight „Blauer See“.Notorious for its erratic weather conditions, famous for the impertuable will to party of its dancer's and DJ's, the „Blauer See“ never failed to start the fire. But nice memories do not necessarily make a great party. That's why the Tribehouse, one of the best regional clubs, and Patrick Peiki, mastermind of the PollerWiesen, never rest until the perfect party even gets better.
Both areas have been completely updated and sport a sensational line-up including fresh newcomers and contemporary heroes alike. Hosted by the beautiful „Naturbühne“ in Ratingen, one couldn't imagine a better location for blasting the rocket.
Officers in command and undisputed headliners for this year's trip are Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano teaming up for their only back 2 back-set this year, being presented exclusively at the „Blauer See“. Their sound is known for its pioneering spirit and curiosity while maintaining its steady orbit. It's a journey to the galaxy and back without skipping a beat.
Only a few lightyears away, Reboot carves his way through outer space and hones his live skills. His releases helped quite a few labels to enter hyperspace, kickstarting the warp drive and declaring every club a black hole. In the meantime he found his homebase on Luciano's Cadenza label, where he prepares the next evolutionary steps of his cosmic rave.
But we have more: the Italoboyz announced their participation, space pirates by nature and always ready for the next adventure. It's their first time at the „Blauer See“, but last year they tore apart the „PollerWiesen“-Boat. Judging by that we're in for a wild ride in zero gravity: if you want to steal some klingon Targs, you might wanna ask the Italoboyz.
Also on board as members of the United Federation of the „Blauer See“ are the portuguese precision engineer Marc Antona, universally known for his artful fine-tuning, and Tobi Neumann, a former bush pilot going mental. Tobi drives you through a meteorite field in no time. Furthermore we expect Binh on the wheels of steel, diplomatic delegate from the Tribehouse, as well as Tobias Becker and Marc Lansley, PollerWiesen-mainstays and known for their trigger-happy dj-sets.
This journey is going to rock for sure...
