Why did you choose your DAW?

Renoise,

Love the fact that you can you can do a lot of actions (which are a pain to do in audio only in Logic) so quickly. Low on the CPU and since the interface isn't the best looking, I concentrate more on what I'm hearing.

cubase 5.5 here for the depth of control over audio and midi and seamless integration with the Motu CuemixFX console. Also working with ableton 8 for some sound design and general sound mangling craziness. For me the workflow in Cubase is very intuitive, fast and precise for being expressive and keeping the creativity going somewhere

Yeah Cubase for me too, although I'm using Ableton as sampler.

Still learning in Cubase though, so things are very slow for me.
