Only issue I have with computer based sequencing is that I can't work with no boundaries. I like limitations and having them 'forced' on me encourages me to be creative. Infinite possibilities exist within the computer based option and I find my mind wanders off the job so to speak. Hard to explain, but it's too much looking and not enough doing.
I think what you speak of here explains why I waste so much time when I flip on Ableton Live, vs. whipping out a track so quickly on my Electribe, the limits keep me confined and focused.
