Downloading HQ Rock/Pop/Soul

OK so a slightly strange question, but where can you download High quality music say WAV's that isn't House/Minimal/Techno? I want to sample some commercial records but don't own them and want high quality source material. Itunes only let you download a flac/mp3 right? I want something with the breadth of itunes but higher quality?

CDs are obviously your best bet.

Surely 320kbps MP3 will suffice though? If so, check the Amazon Download store.

P.S. FLAC is lossless so if iTunes does let you download FLAC then use that.

Hey, thanks for the reply, itunes use the AAC format - better than mp3, but is this an acceptable sampling source? Amazon use a 256kps mp3. Any thoughts?
