Recreating this bass sound?

Post by adam_d »

Hi,there and happy new year.
I've been trying to get this 'grunt' sound for a while but so far I haven't got the results I had hoped for.
In sample 01 its easy to hear while in sample 02 its a bit less audible (but still there). Any ideas of what would be used to reproduce it?

Sample 01 http://www51.zippyshare.com/v/41501777/file.html

Sample 02 http://www51.zippyshare.com/v/66397411/file.html

These samples aren't exactly my kind of music (nothing wrong with em just not my genre) but there the only ones I've found so far that have that sound I'm looking for.

Thanks and any help would be really appreciated.
