i want it broader..

like i said, solved in the mastering process. some stuff are not fair to compare to a commercial track.

try stereo imager on the drum buss or master buss.

not so good advice imo. stereo enhancers mess with the phase relation, which is deadly on bass heavy material or on the master buss.

in my defense, i did say to wait to the mastering.
but if he insist.....

i think AK gave a better answer than me. panning hats, percs and clicks make the overall drums sound wider and can give him the impression that its the kick.
