But for a place where it has to suffer abuse like youth centers or pubs where you get beer spilled over it or new dj's or -even worse- ash trays, I would swear by it: rodec can take all that and play on like it never happened. I know clubs here in Belgium where the rodec still is used that was put in there twenty years ago. Pioneer usually breaks down after twenty days

The pan thing is weird indeed, but many people don't like the gain on A&H either or the four band EQ... it's all a question of getting used to and knowing your mixers.
