Help needed on producing a Detroit like string/pad sound.

try just searching for strings.

I've never wasted a single second from trying to synthesise a sound. Usually the times when I learn the most is when I get nowhere close to getting the right answer.. it forces you to try everything and be creative.

it was just 3 results from the first page of a google 'how to make a string pad' search... expand it yourself and it might get better than this..

Massive can be used, FM8 too... should be so hard.

Why dont you try typing Detroit pads or Detroit strings in the search engine then point me in the right direction as youve obviously found something my search never.

i said it because there has been lots of in depth threads about detroit type sounds, that went on for months.
