Having established itself as a major player within the realms of Global Electronic Music, and more specifically in Ibiza, Monza intends to transcend all borders in 2011 with the launch of, Monza Ibiza Records.
The new project, launched by Javier Gonzalez and Evan Burke purports to be the launching pad for influential new sounds. Through its legendary residency at Privilege Ibiza, the German brand has always offered the public a different view and sound. Now they are taking the opportunity, through the medium of vinyl and digital releases, to transport the feeling the dancefloors of the world, inviting artists who over the years, have been through the house of Monza.
For the first release we are treated to two sparkling originals from, Paul Cart & Manu L. "Domma" and "Coconuts" are the first two tracks that the label feel perfectly encapsulate the essence and dynamics of Monza.
Heavy original's require heavy remixes, and for this task Monza turn to, SIS and Carlos Sanchez. SIS creates a more melodic and slow take of "Coconuts", whilst Carlos Sanchez has shot straight for the floor, giving "Domme" a more considered look, but still retaining its dominant tech twist.
