one of my old mates used to swear by his. loads of sounds from 90s, underground + commercial.
it must have been pretty good or i dout korg would release a plugin if it wasn't so popular.

if its the keyboard version, its a pretty big with not a very good interface. i might sway towards a plugin, less space and much easier to use.

Just for fun, here's another classic early house sound - the Casio CZ organ preset.

That's a good price, Ben!
I'd do the impulse buy without hesitation if that shop was near me.

This thread reminded me about the Korg M1 so I decided to buy the software version.

http://www.korg.com/Product.aspx?pd=589

Highly recommended! My only complaints are that the interface isn't very intuitive when it comes to saving your own sounds, and that there's so many patches (it takes a while to really go through them). It does have a pretty handy browser function for finding the right type of patch, and I guess that most people wouldn't really complain about having too many of them!

Apparently this software version not only has all of the patches from the original keyboard but all the additional sounds from the various sound cards that they used to sell for the M1.
