Whispers

Post by Phune »

Hi Guys,
i've always thought that the wispers in a loop and in a track are one of the greatest fx or vox that u could use, they give you that atmo that none other instrument or fx should gave you..but actually i don't hear it in the most of the tracks out there.
How do u use whisps? What do you think about them?
Explain your opinion!

I've always had trouble recording whispers. Maybe because I don't have a good microphone. Who knows. Any eq/recording tips for whispers?

you want a condenser mic and a quiet room. you probably don't want the computer in the same room.

try to be louder than normal, and make sure to be very nasally and exhale while you talk/sing.
