domestication of the high end frequencies

Post by cone2air2ear »

hi. this is my first post, and i would like to most humbly offer my hello to those who happen to read my first post. usually i do techno or things close to it. very bass orientated. there is always a nice hump around 50hz. now that i feel the bass is under my control, i ve come to have time to focus more on the high end. is there any pointers anyone could offer.. saturation, roll off,... basically if anyone has any feelings or thoughts on the matter. especially if anyone knows what is the standard practice, or what they have been told is.
my ideas HAVE to sound as good as they did when i thought of them.

thnx dude. i actually did read this article too. but months ago. i resolved my issues. it was more to do with dithering, and me remembering things i already knew. but either way any reflections on high end frequencies are invited. personally i ve spent 90% or maybe 99% of my time on bass, more like kick drum science.
