Buy an iMac seriously the G5 is way too old. Either iMac or build. Hackingtosh or save for a real MacPro

I wouldn't go with a G5, there are far to many bits of software that are not compatible with the processor.

what will you do if your G5 dies a week after you get it? we're talking about a computer which is 5-7 years old and most of them have been worked hard for most of that time. your better off saving up and getting new. trust me i've lost 2 G5's in 2years and the software limitations get annoying.

G5's are very outdated. most new software is not supported on PPC's, just get a freaking intel mac.

I just had to face the facts that it was time to replace my G5 Power Mac, too. It still performed well for Live, but was terrible in most programs that came out after Apple switched to Intel, and PPC support keeps dropping for lots of programs.

Do yourself a favor and don't get a G5 machine.
