Totally out of inspiration. tips?

completely change your working methods.
the most inspiration ive had for years came when i completely changed how i made electronic music.
stop using the synths / software etc.. you always use and try something completely different, if youre a samplist try synthesis, if youre a synthesist try sampling

dont listen to whats going on in the 'scene'.

maybe try making something at a different tempo and experiment with rhythms a bit more.

Yeah, I've been experimenting for some weeks now. With reaktor 5 trying to get a new sound or somthing. FM synthesis is very intresting and also grain synthesis, but boy are they complex
any good artist that produces different minimal than the "classic"???

I find the best way to combat lack of inspiration is too just keep on making music.

go make some sounds..
dive into a synthesizer and just tweak and record the stuff you're doing.
go make some little loops and resample them.

Make your own little samplepack/synthpresets
that'll keep you off the street!

will try this tonight. btw just remembered one good inspiration stimulus "drugs"

Try to forget about the technical side of things if you are into high production values. Go for deliberately lofi sounding thing to shake things up a bit.

At the end of the day you have nothing to lose if you are feeling uninspired. Failing that perhaps work on sound design or sampling until you feel the embers starting to glow again
