Escape the festival mayhem to explore one of the UK's finest animal parks! For 2012 every ticket holder will have free access to the Animal Park throughout the weekend.
Set on 600 acres of stunning grounds, Port Lympne Wild Animal Park features a historic mansion and landscaped gardens with spectacular views over the Kent countryside stretching out to the coast. It is also home to the largest breeding herd of Black Rhinos outside Africa as well as Siberian and Indian tigers, African elephants, monkeys, Barbary lions and many more rare and endangered species. ʻThe Palace of the Apesʼ, the worldʼs largest gorillarium is home to a complete family of gorillas, fed at 12 noon and 3:00pm daily.
THE ASPINALL FOUNDATION
The Aspinall Foundation is the charity which manages Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks. They are devoted to protecting rare and endangered animals, where possible returning them back to the wild. Zoo Project Festival feel passionate about giving a proportion from every ticket sold back to The Aspinall Foundation to help protect animals threatened by extinction. Lets help ‘RELEASE THE ANIMALS’ back into the wild together!
