Hello guys,
a friend of mine is wondering to start his own record label.. and asked me some advices.
Does anyone know if there are distributors that could accepti the "press & distribution" deal?
The concept is almost ready, 4 releases, logo+graphics, masters, remixers and promotion with a well known agency..
The idea is to make a techno record label on 12" and digital.
If you have any suggestions please feel free to let me know
Peace to the community!

there are not so much advises
its like a holy grail question.
the most and important word is: money (nowadays)
check gema, customer fees, distributions (word and sound, discomania, diamond and pearls etc.) and of course record fabrics.

There's like 0 money in labels. People are real flaky too. Good luck.

decks.de does also vinyl distribution and p & d deals. communication with them used to be a mess but i heard it got better.santorrr wrote: Does anyone know if there are distributors that could accepti the "press & distribution" deal?
intergroove does too.
diamonds and pearls also
prime uk does p&d but is not recommendable.
st holdings did but they are cutting it down.
you just need a good product and it will be easy. if the stuff is average it will possibly end up with a shitty distro and personal frustration.
