perhaps here, we can share "
experiences" with bad sellers,
that we've done business with.. and also share "good sellers" that we've done business with.. like eric has stated in the other thread, he has contacted buyers and asked them to lower the price. therefore I think it would counter productive if we just speculated on people and what they charge vs. sharing what happened, (after) actually doing business with the person..
do agree a discogs thread is much needed. as stated above, with a simple adjustment on (want list / search by country) I saved a killing on shipping.. literally about $250 or even more. typically I was paying $15 a record, $20 in shipping which was apx $35 per/record.
My example I just experienced..
$35 (ave cost for both record & shipping)
x 15 records (would) have been = $525
vs.
average $12 record x 15 shipping = $ 180
old buying approach was $525 - new one $180
= $345 savings in shipping alone.
