Here's something different: I don't have the money for real gear (or even software) at the moment, so I'm making music with my trusty 10-year old Nintendo DS, using a program called M01. There's no EQ, no filters, no compressors, no sampling, just some crappy preset 12-bit sounds that sound like rejects from a Casio home keyboard. So, professional quality music it is not, but it IS a very fast and fun device to make music with!
Anyways, here's my best result so far:
Edit: My A&H DJ mixer does a bit of EQ and filtering on this one.
Techno made with a Nintendo DS
Re: Techno made with a Nintendo DS
Haha that's really cool! I actually kinda like it. But there's no way the DS is 10 years old!
Re: Techno made with a Nintendo DS
You're correct, it's actually 9 years old, I just checked. Not that it makes a huge difference, the point was that it's not exactly a powerhouse with it's 4MB of memory, 67MHz processor and stuff. A fun toy anyway, and very fast to work with!180gram wrote:Haha that's really cool! I actually kinda like it. But there's no way the DS is 10 years old!
