Hellas fellas!
I recently bought myself a pair of turntables from two different sellers at ebay (was about time, after collecting records for one and a half years of collecting records without owning a player, haha).
One of them works really well but the other one doesn't.
The seller pretty much fucked me over, by the way his username is jd82o32.
The main problem with the 1210 is that the turntable-bearing is a bit loose.
this makes it run a bit wobbly however the pitch doesnt seem to be affected.
the bearing also produces a grinding noise which is not audible through the speakers tho.
Repairing it won't be cheap and since I'm broke 24/7 my question to you is:
What do you think? is the repair necessary, will the defective bearing affect my at-home-mixing?
Thanks in advance
raoul

Post up any pic? Are you talking about having problems with the center spindle?
