hi, kinda new on her… read a lot, post hardly at all...
really getting into digging on discogs over the last few years, was wondering if you guys know of any really good sellers with some nice crates to sit through.
found a few, but find i'm spending a hell of a lot of time digging through crates & sometimes not really finding anything.
guess thats part of the fun though? ;-)

1. This thread should be moved to General Chat
2. We also had this thread http://www.mnml.nl/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=86621
3. Looking through my archived purchases, there are only 3 sellers from whom(?) I bough twice ( Cisco7204VXR, clocke, mrformic ).
As I kept adding to the wantlist, I noticed the usernames and ordered again.
4. About browsing items for sale, meh, if it's a user with 2-3K items, that's kind of easy to scroll around and click on what catches your eye. Trouble is with people who have more items for sale, 6k, 10k, 30k..
5. Cheers

6. Tastes are tastes, maybe your "not really finding anything" could be "finding bombs" for someone else

Re: discogs diggin'
I've personally have not really found a seller with more than one of two records I wanted. the one time I did, it was due to a shipping requirement minimum and I typically found myself forcing a record vs. finding something I truly wanted.
a great feature I wasnt aware of was (sort) by country, which saves a ton in shipping cost, and you may find yourself getting lots more records for you money..vs. paying to ship them over the pond.

Re: discogs diggin'
how do you sort sellers per country?!
Re: discogs diggin'
http://www.discogs.com/marketplace?more=ships_from
However, after that you have to look up all sellers and see who has more items from your wantlist

Re: discogs diggin'
yeah i hoped you could sort your "items I Want" List like that..
Re: discogs diggin'
Doesn't work. It's been asked on the forums since forever, not implemented,
I guess the best way (in the long run) is to have a big number of wantlist items and then when you see something from a particular seller, save some shipping costs by buying multiple items at once. Or do some bulk orders with your friends that also have big wantlists
