Binh interview
Re: Binh interview
good one ...
-everything you think, do and say
is in the pill you took today-
:zager and evans:
-life is of the nature of water:
it always seeks the deepest place,
which is always below in the darkness
and heaviness of the earth.-

The fact that it's dying seems great to me, as it is now an opportunity to be totally unique.whisper12 wrote:No worries, wish there were more interviews like this around

I hope it keeps on dying.

Re: Binh interview
it's always been unique. why is it all of sudden a unique thing? that's the entire point of djing - self expression. that fact that something is "dying" seems "great" to you is something I couldn't disagree more with and don't relate with that logic.
to me, it means going out.....to hear unique quality music...... is becoming more and more difficult... which is really sad.....

I hear you John, I think you misunderstood the perspective I was writing from. What I meant was, as an up and coming DJ, it gives me more of an opportunity to sound different to everyone else.
On your point though, while instinctively I completely agree with it, I think the prevailing desire for people when they go out to rave is to dance and have a good time. I don't think most people care *necessarily* about whether the music is new/unique. That being said, since I have started posting on here, I catch myself when out noticing how the tunes all sound the same. Nevertheless I still have a great time.
