server should be back up, of course murphy struck . The gig was super, had great amounts of fun, and I love how being two to play a set really works well. This was really the first we played together, and I can't wait to do it again :)

Also I'm upping another set of mine from december, where I played 4 gigs with just the machiendrum, and I slowly start to get much more confidence in reading the crowd and keeping the flow up. I'm super busy with the ocmpany at the moment though so I don't hae that much time to focus on music, but soon I'll have more to write about again I think :)

here is a set with machinedrum only i played in berlin in december (i got to play 4 gigs with just MD in december, was a good help), it starts at about 15 minutes in:

I'm really happy about this mix, cause the flow is really tight, and I just used this one machine. I was also really relaxed while playing it, talking to a lot of people, and not really caring about what I was doing.

I had this passage in november 2008 where I thought the whole liveset approach was crap, cause I couldn't get the same energy and osund level out of it than out of a dj-set (it seemed), but this and the set with opuswerk makes me quite confident :)

Cheers, manuel

just a quick update, i'm playing quite a few gigs lately, really busy the rest of the time with building midi controllers. here is the recording of a set in geneva last month with opuswerk and thyladomid which was really good fun (despite me being slightly ill). machinedrum + monomachine, as always.

playing every week in clubs definitely makes the flow come together :)

i haven't made much new patterns since october or so, but i'm starting to feel creative again, and i've got a few new firmwares for my midi contorllers which make a lot of new things possible that will really help.

fresh one from last night, recorded at planbar weimar.

MachineDrum + Monomachine + my own MiniCommand. I had to cut out some cable fails at the beginning, so some sharp pattern transitions. Really happy about the overall sound now, need to improve a bit in flow and add more background noise, as always. and new patterns :)
