Sounds cool to me, although I doubt i’ll be buying an ipad to try it out.

While where on the topic of Richie hawtin and Apple has anyone seen him play with the live iphone interaction app?

all this dj software makes me wonder why on earth I spend so much time creating tracks when everyone just seems to want to chop up everything to bits and "create new exciting ways that will evolve the craft even further blahblahblah". :roll:

So now dj'ing with the ipad, maybe we can just pass the thing on the dancefloor to random people and each one "mixes" a tune in, and on goes the next. Shareware party :)

Anyways, Hawtin is starting to look more like a Radioshack salesman with all the products he's endorsing. :) Hoping his plastikman album will be great though, although some evil voices are also whispering he's not making that one himself either...

All a lot of those tools have just a limited life span so why spend valuable time on it. Remember that portable dj-system Richie was promoting?

Can't even remember the name of it...
